I’m here in Kelantan and it’s the last day of fasting. Some how today seems like the hardest knowing that tomorrow onwards we can eat again.

Waiting for time to pass…and it’s going by real s l o w.

I smell good food from the kitchen and I can’t wait! Moreso to know that during my drive down to Kelantan I was already having cravings and thinking about what I wanted to eat, tomyam. My mom was so sure that I wouldnt be able to get hold of it since it’s Raya time and all shops are closed. To my luck, my aunt made some.

Yeaaaaa. Food is on my mind. Food is on my mind.

I wanna say Happy Ramadhan to all Muslims across the world for this month is the most peaceful month of the year.

You can feel the stillness in the air. Not cold but just quiet and calming. Where everybody takes a moment from their busy sinful lives to respect the month.

My bf sent me this link of “88 Important Truths I’ve Learned About Life” and I thought it was really interesting and fun to read because I could relate to most of em and say “shiiitttt!! how u know me????” Haha. I picked out a few favorites to share with you guys and relate it to myself.

Revenge is for the petty and irresponsible.
(Yeup, I was dealing with this recently. So this goes out to all you haters)

What makes human beings different from animals is that animals can be themselves with ease.

Posture and dress change profoundly how you feel about yourself and how others feel about you, like it or not.
(I can’t agree this this more! I’m always stressing on how you look really does carry a certain image. If your smart but you dress like shit then ppl would most probably take you as a dirty bum. Naa mean?)

The urge to punish others has much more to do with venting frustration than correcting behavior.

Try as we might to be otherwise, we are all hypocrites.

Justice is a human invention which is in reality rarely achievable, but many will not hesitate to destroy lives demanding it.

Stuff that’s on sale usually has an annoying downside.
(Word. Esp. forever21. That place is ghetto. All my sales item that I bought had holes in em without me realizing until I got home.)

Words are immensely powerful.  One cruel remark can wound someone for life.

The secret ingredient is usually butter, in obscene amounts.
(I bake! So true. No butter, no life)

It is worth re-trying foods that you didn’t like at first.
(I used to hate them mango salad but now I can’t get over it)

A good nine out of ten bad things I worry about never happen.  A good nine out of ten bad things that did happen never occurred to me to worry about.
(For those who knows me…Doesn’t this truely define me? Hahaha!)

One of the best things you can do for your kids is take them on road trips.  I’m not a parent, but I was a kid once.
(Aww yea!!!!!!!!!! Family time is never as good as when you travel with em)

Wishing things were different is a great way to torture yourself.
(Yup. I was always bitter bout moving back to Malaysia for about 4-5 years. I was in great depression bc there was nothing I can do about it and thinking about it created more anger and sadness in me.)

Children are remarkably honest creatures until we teach them not to be.
